Colleen Young, Virtual Events Moderator

Colleen has wanted to be a talk show host since her first day broadcasting her high school's televised morning announcements.

That inspired her to earn a degree in Journalism at SUNY Buffalo State. 

There, Colleen emceed events both on campus and throughout the City of Buffalo, in addition to co-hosting a student-run talk show, and producing her own YouTube show. 

These experiences prepared her to host Bison's virtual events, during which she enjoys connecting with talented people from across the country.

Q. What is the best evet you ever attended?

A. My big sister Caroline's wedding was a magical event under a huge tent in the lovely backyard of a big, beautiful home in Maryland. There was a BBQ buffet and a full ice cream cooler. We danced all night, celebrating their love with family and friends. It was the best night of my life thus far; and as Caroline would tell you, she's still tired from planning it. 

Q. What is the loudest major event you have ever been to?

A. In 2016, I attended Beyoncé's Formation World Tour concert at Hersheypark Stadium. I love Beyoncé, as does the entire Beyhive. I think my ears are still ringing.

Q. What is one event is on your bucket list? 

A. Weekends with Adele at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace seems like it will be an inspirational and emotional show. I hope they film one of the shows and share it with the public after her residency. I'd like to watch it and cry in the comfort of my own home with some wine recommended by Master Sommelier Jesse Becker. Cheers!
